Dermacyn Wound Care is intended for moistening absorbent wound dressings and for debriding and cleaning acute and chronic dermal lesions, such as Stage I-IV pressure ulcers, stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, post-surgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, abrasions and minor irritations of the skin Ensures a highly effective reduction in pathogen load Facilitates the mechanical removal of microorganisms and cell debris Facilitates debridement more quickly by lysing previously damaged cells which are found in large volumes in infected wounds Used for cleansing wounds such as ulcers, minor burns and irritations
